Subject: Your application for #utm has been accepted.
Your channel has been accepted by the CService Administration and added to
Channel Services. The Admin who registered your channel made the following
comments:

You can confirm your registration by typing:
/msg W,X chaninfo #utm
The following are the commands you will need to authenticate and bring
X or W into your channel: Please note the responses you should receive
from W/X after each phase of the authentication process. Wait until
you see the proper response before proceeding to the next step. If you
have trouble with any step, please stop by #cservice and ask for
assistance.
1. Login
/msg X@channels.undernet.org login #utm ******** OR
/msg W@channels2.undernet.org login #utm ********
Response: -W- AUTHENTICATION SUCCESSFUL ON #utm!
2. Change your password
Select your own password; it must be between 6 - 9 characters long,
and should contain only letters and numbers.
/msg X@channels.undernet.org newpass #utm yourpassword OR
/msg W@channels2.undernet.org newpass #utm yourpassword
Response: -W- Password changed!
3. Authenticate with your password.
Note: you will need to verify every time you login into your channel
and after netsplits.
/msg X@channels.undernet.org login #utm yourpassword OR
/msg W@channels2.undernet.org login #utm yourpassword
Response: -W- AUTHENTICATION SUCCESSFUL ON #utm!
FAILURE TO AUTHENTICATE AT LEAST ONCE EVERY 21 DAYS WITH YOUR 500
LEVEL ACCESS WILL RESULT IN YOUR CHANNEL BEING PURGED.
4. Bring X or W into the channel. Do NOT op W/X, the bot will op itself.
/msg X join #utm OR /msg W join #utm
5. Set your channel defaults.
This will cause W/X to remember your channel modes and to rejoin
automatically after a netsplit. Set your channel modes using
/mode #channelname +nt or any other modes you normally use then:
/msg X addchan #utm OR /msg W addchan #utm.
NOTE: Adding a second identical hostmask for yourself with a lower
access level will prevent you from being able to access your level
500 commands. If you require any hostmask changes, you must use the
hostmask change form.
We strongly recommend that you obtain the following documents:
CService Guidelines, Channel Managers FAQ and W/X Commands.
Please read these documents before you ask any questions.
These and other informative documents can be found on our homepage at
http://cservice.undernet.org "info". You can also download documents
on Undernet. For a list of available documents, /msg underbot files
then /msg underbot get documentname to have the document DCC'd to you.
CService also offers training and instructional classes in our very own
#OpSchool and #OpMasters.
#OpSchool is brought to you by the Undernet Channel Service. OpSchool is
approximately a 45 minutes long class that is now divided into two
sessions. One technical session dealing with commands for the X and W bot,
and one operational session about floods/abuse/registration.
#OpMasters is a new hands-on class that is also presented by Undernet
Channel Services. The program is designed for Channel Managers and users
who have at least 450 access in a registered channel and wish to have a
more in depth knowledge of X/W commands.
For information on our classes, please visit our OpSchool/OpMasters home
page at http://www.wildstar.net/~opschool/.
